The OMg Magnesium story was born from passion and founded three years ago by Chris and Nina, and Roelof & Renske.
In the summer of 2026, Boudewijn and Wilbert took over. With the same passion and vision, they want to bring a new lifestyle around OMg Magnesium to life — a brand that inspires people to be more mindful about movement, recovery, relaxation and their daily wellbeing, with magnesium as the connecting element.
Wilbert was born and raised in Veendam and is involved with Magnesium Kuurstad Veendam. Boudewijn is closely involved with Stichting PLN, a Dutch foundation for hereditary heart muscle disease. Magnesium is essential for how your muscles function — and so, just as much, for your heart. They met at the Tikkende Klok Challenge, and that's where their passionate journey began.

OMg Magnesium is committed not only to your health through pure products, but also to the community OMg is rooted in.
Of all revenue, 1% goes to Stichting Magnesium Kuurstad Veendam for scientific research, and 1% goes to Stichting PLN. This foundation supports research into PLN, a hereditary Dutch heart muscle disease.
That's how OMg Magnesium gives back too.
